Week 8

Hello Class,

This week we study intervals. We will reuse some familiar terms: Major and Minor. The terms Major and Minor (used now as interval names not scale names) are used along with two new terms: Augmented and Diminished.

The lecture provides some eartraining strategies by relating specific intervals to familiar melodies. Please try out Eartraining Quizzes no. 2 and 3 this week.

The required tests on intervals are posted this week.
