Week 6

Hello Class,

This week we study three forms of the minor scale: the natural minor, harmonic minor and melodic minor. If you like variety, you can get your fill with the minor scales. In the spirit of diversity, I will also include some additional "minorish" type scales. I have always felt that every person who aspires to write music should write out each minor scale at least once. I'm sure you agree, so I have provided some blank worksheets so that you can fulfill your dreams and write out all the minor scales. You're welcome.

In addition, the required test on minor scales is posted this week.

Oh, yeah, there are also three optional JavaScript quizzes on constructing minor scales. If those work on your computer, you can practice spelling the scales.
