- triads:

- seventh chords:

- ninth chords:
voicing1 = root,3rd,7th,9th,5th voicing 2 = root,7th,9th,3rd voicing3 = root,5th,7th,9th voicing4 = root,5th,9th,3rd,5th

The following are chords common used in Jazz.
(roots are circled, move the chord to the appropriate location for proper use)
How to Use Menus on the Left Side of the Page
- Select a Root.
- Select a Position.
- Select one of the following:
- Chord, then click 'make Chord Arpeggio Diagram' button
The notes for the current key will be displayed in the Notes field.
- Scale, then click 'make Scale Diagram' button
The notes for the current key will be displayed in the Notes field.
- ChordVoicing, then click 'make Chord Voicing' button
The interval for the current voicing will be displayed in the Intervals field.
- By changing the position you can examine the current
setting at different position.
- By changing the root you can examine the current
setting in different keys at the current position.
- You can type uppercase letter names (separated by commas, no spaces)
into the Notes field, then click the 'process Notes' button. Typing 'root' before a lettername will result in that lettername being circled
- You can type interval numbers (separated by commas, no spaces)
into the Intervals field, then click the 'process Intervals' button.
- Experiment by editing the current settings in the Notes or Intervals fields then
click the button to see the changes on the fretboard.
- NOTE: when experimenting with the Note fields, you cannot transpose your custom
note list to other keys but the position menu still works Both the key menu and position menu work when using custom interval lists.
